Pricing is calculated using the animal's hanging weight and the amount you're purchasing. Typical range for our animals is 550-650 lbs. Price includes processing and on-farm pick up.

For those who prefer a smaller portion, we are offering a limited number of Bulk Beef Boxes as well.
*Each box will contain a sampling of roasts, ribs, steaks, and ground beef, that would sell at retail for $250. Available for $225. Non-refundable deposit of $75 to reserve yours.

FAQs:

What is "hanging weight?"
"Hanging weight" is the weight of the processed animal, as it hangs to dry age. It is not the same as "package weight". We will lose about 25-30% due to trimming during the butchering process. Rough estimate is that you will end up paying approximately ground beef pricing for the entire portion of beef.

Is there a benefit to purchasing bigger quantities?
Absolutely! The more you buy, the bigger your discount. Also, if you are ordering a Half or a Whole beef, Robert will contact you to take your preferences for how the animal is butchered. (Steak and roast types/thicknesses) Quarters will receive our standard cuts.

How much of a discount do I get for buying in bulk?
--It depends on how much you are purchasing, and it will also depend on the size of the animal.  
Bulk Beef Boxes give you a 10% discount from our retail pricing.
Quarters are approximately a 15% discount.
Halves and Whole Beef are approximately a 18-20% discount.

What about the organ meat?
Organs are not included in the hanging weight. (liver, kidney, heart, and tongue) If you would like to purchase the organs, this can be arranged a la carte.

How does the meat arrive?
Each package is vacuum sealed for extended freezer/shelf life. Your beef will arrive in labeled cardboard boxes from our butcher.

How much freezer space do I need?
Boxes are 8.5"x12.5"x18" (approx. 1.1 cubic feet). Bulk box comes in 1 box. Quarter beef 4-5 boxes, Half beef 8-9 boxes, Whole beef 15-16 boxes.

What kind of cut-distribution can I expect to receive?
There will always be some variation between individual animals, but you can expect roughly 40% of the weight to be ground beef, about 17% in steaks, 23% in roasts, and 20% in other cuts (ribs, bones, stew meat, etc.)

How will I know when it is ready?
We will contact you 2-4 weeks before your beef is ready with your hanging weight, and final amount due. Final payment is made at time of pick up.
